Keeping our retail areas clean!

In November 2020, Your Acton BID launched its new street-cleaning scheme for all its retail areas.

We are working with a contractor to remove grimy stains, clean bins, clean street furniture as well as remove grime and stickers from businesses shop fronts. We are planning a deep clean four times per year: one was executed in November 2020 and we are planning the next cleans to take place in March, June, September and December 2021. You may recognise the operative cleaning the streets, wearing a bright orange Your Acton BID uniform.

Regularly deep cleaning the streets will contribute to making Acton cleaner and safer for its businesses and visitors.
