New living wage announced

Almost 400,000 people working for over 11,000 real Living Wage Employers throughout the country are set for a vital cost-of-living pay boost.

This year’s Living Wage rates have been brought forward in recognition of the sharp increase in living costs over the past year. The new Living Wage rate in London is £11.95 an hour.

Would you like to become an Living Wage Employer? Businesses who pay their staff the London Living Wage as a minimum, can apply to Ealing Council to get a one-off payment – equivalent to two years of Living Wage accreditation fees.
