Update on the Pavement License

Good news for the hospitality businesses, where the £100 Pavement License may become permanent!

The Levelling Up Bill is at the report stage in the House of Lords and requests the provision under sections 1 to 9 of the Business and Planning Act 2020 to be made permanent. If successful, this will be fantastic news for the hospitality sector, saving £1000’s per year compared to the council’s advertised tables and chairs fees. We will continue to keep updated once more information is available.
