For the months of August, the Acton BID reported various issues such as:

  • Over 27 issues of fly tipping incidents.
  • 21 counts of graffiti on business shop fronts and street furniture.
  • 3 other types of incidents, including streets not clean, pavement issues and abandoned bicycles.

My Local Bobby team has attended various incidents which includes:

  • 16  incidents related to beggars.
  • 17 incidents related to Antisocial behaviours (i.e., street drinking, noise disturbance, etc.).
  • 8 incidents related to crime (shoplifting and theft).

The MLB team as been keeping busy during the month of August assisting businesses with various Shoplifting offences and reducing any Anti-Social Behaviours around the town centre.

During the month of August, The Acton BID organised a networking and clean up day in South Acton. South Acton businesses were able to meet the team with a coffee and take the opportunity to dispose any unwanted items in their premises. We are also working with Cultivate London to maintain our flower beds by adding more trees, benches, and a picket fence (to reduce the amount of rubbish inside the beds) in South Acton estate walkway.
