Your Acton’s Makers Market

Your Acton BID, in collaboration with Design Led, is thrilled to announce the summer edition of the Acton Markers Market, scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 13th, 2024. This vibrant community event will transform Churchfield Road W3 into a bustling marketplace, showcasing a diverse array of artisans and traders.

From 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, attendees can explore a wide variety of stalls offering unique art, fashion jewellery, handcrafted jams, sauces, wines, and home decor. The Acton Markers Market is a perfect opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind items, support local businesses, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Acton's creative community.

As part of the market day and set-up, part of Churchfield Road will be closed to vehicles between Alfred Rd and Burlington Gardens to allow for the necessary stall spaces.

And Finally...

Congratulations to Global Skills Training, who celebrated their 20th Anniversary and celebrated their graduates

On 20th June, Global Skills gathered at ActOne Cinema to celebrate two significant milestones: the graduation of our learners and the 20th anniversary of Global Skills. The event was joyous, filled with great food, awards, wonderful company, vibrant celebration, pride, reflection, and a sense of community. Global Skills were delighted at the turnout and the opportunity to shout out from the rooftops how proud we are of their learners.

If local businesses are looking to take on an apprentice this year, please get in touch with Nasir or Magda at hello@global-skills.com
