£157,484 in National Lottery funding has been given to Ealing Borough to support local people and communities tackle the climate emergency! The funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity in the UK, will support local charity Action West London to bring climate action to its Acton Market with activities, workshops and events. The two-year project will bring people from across Ealing and beyond together to learn about how to Recycle, Reuse, Repair and help get residents involved in practical Climate Action events and workshops, such as Ealing Repair Café’s activities and the monthly Bike Works stall that helps people fix and upcycle their bicycles. Climate change is an issue that faces us all, and we all have our duty to do something to help us reach net zero.
