Your Acton BID is working with Aid Training to provide FREE accredited training courses for BID members. The in person training is now available for the following courses and dates:

• Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work on Wednesday 16th October from 9:30 to 17:00
• Fire Marshall on Wednesday 23rd October from 9:30 to 13:00
• Level 2 Food Hygiene on Wednesday 30th October from 9:30 to 17:00
• Level 2 Health and Safety in the workplace on Wednesday 6th November from 9:30 to 17:00.

 * All courses will be taking place face to face in Acton at Global Skills Training - First Floor, Old Acton Library, High St, London W3 6NA.

The pavement licence expired on the 30th September. Please note that all businesses that currently have a pavement licence (regardless of when you applied for it) must renew their licence before September 30th if you want to continue to have tables and chairs on the pavement. Great news, the pavement licence will continue to be £100 for the year! If you haven’t done so yet, please apply now! For more information and how to apply, check out the council’s website here.

I know that thinking about Christmas seems far away at the moment. However, the Acton BID is getting ready for the festive season! A lot is in store again for this year's holiday season with our December Markers Market, Christmas lights, 3D light installations, and Christmas trees!

But before unveiling everything just yet, we are getting ready for our annual Christmas Guide, making Your Acton THE Christmas destination! The Ealing Festival of Business is back and come join us! The Ealing Festival of Business is your opportunity to shine, giving you the chance to showcase and promote your business to our diverse business community. The day starts with a stakeholder breakfast with keynote speakers to be announced. The business exhibition will open at 9:30am, with up to 40 stands!
