And the winner of this year's Your Acton Bunny Trail is Emmenual and Harry!

A massive congratulations and thank you to everyone who took part and supported this year’s event! We could not be more grateful for the amazing community support.

We are happy that it was our most successful event to date. Join Your Acton BID Board of Directors

We have vacancies for directors on the Board of Your Acton BID. 

The board of Your Acton BID comprises of business owners, managers or representatives to ensure the focus and aims of the voted business plan stay on track and are delivered effectively and within budget.

The role is voluntary, but the time commitment is structured as six meetings per year and one AGM. As a director, you will be supported by a dedicated team of paid staff who will manage the expected deliverables within the planned budget and schedule. This support ensures that you can focus on strategic contributions that will help shape Your Acton BID’s offer and maintain a thriving town centre. 

We are particularly eager to engage with individuals from the services, entertainment, office, and retail sectors. We recognise each sector's unique value to our organisation and look forward to welcoming your contributions.

Your Acton Maker's Market

On the 26th April, marked the first of the Your Marker’s Market of the Year, the first of 4 of 2025! We would like to thank everyone who participated in and visited the market.

Save the date, as the upcoming Marker’s Market will be held on Saturday 21st June on Churchfield Road!

Accredited Online Training Courses

Your Acton BID, with Highfield E-Learning, is providing FREE accredited training courses online for BID members! Businesses can sign up their employees to obtain their training online, which they can complete in their own time. The courses available online are Fire Marshall, Health and Safety, and Level 2 Food Safety.

Join us at our upcoming Breakfast Networking event

Save the date, as our upcoming Breakfast Networking will be held in June! Your Acton BID, in collaboration with West London Chamber of Commerce, will host the next breakfast networking event on Friday 6th  June 2025 at The George and Dragon Pub. Coffee, tea and pastries will be served during the event.  

When: Friday, 6th June from 08:30 to 10:30

Where: The George and Dragon Pub: 183 High St, London W3 9DJ

It is an amazing opportunity to connect with local businesses, inspirational people and elevate your professional journey, plus it is FREE for BID members.

Proposed Stop&Shop+

Ealing Council is suggesting to change its remaining short-stay free parking spaces called ‘stop and shop’ into stop and shop+ parking spaces. 

This means a 30-minutes of free parking at all stop and shop+ spaces around the borough. You can find out more about the Stop&Shop+ proposal on the Council’s website here.

A statutory consultation will run from 23 April to 14 May, and residents and businesses can contact the council via email to trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk to highlight any unique circumstances or concerns relating to the proposed changes. Please quote reference P004B-25.

Disposable vapes banned from June

Businesses urged to prepare for disposable vapes ban. Retailers in the borough could face court action if they do not comply with a national ban on disposable vapes coming into force on the 1st June. The law applies to high street businesses, online stores, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and importers.

Ealing Council’s trading standards team is working to help businesses prepare for this change in law, including those close to schools, to also remind them of the laws on underage sales. For more information, please visit the Council’s website.

Free Business Promo for BID businesses

So many of you are running exciting events every month that we want to support. This is why we are doing monthly round-up across Instagram, Linked In and Facebook. Our goal is to share as many events as possible every month in Acton - giving you more footfall and creating a buzz on the busy Acton streets. But to do this, we need your help to let us know what you have going on. Big or small, we want to hear it.

  • The event your business is hosting in June 2025
  • Information about it (time / date / customer stipulations)
  • Any accompanying photos or videos
