New Acton Central Station Mural

New community art installation unveiled at Acton Central Station.
The London Overground roundels project was born out of a partnership between Artyface and Arriva Trains London.
Artist and founder of Artyface, Maud Milton, is passionate about running intergenerational, multicultural and inclusive workshops that make art accessible to all.
This mural at Acton Central is the first since the London Overground renaming and has the Mildmay Line colours and is also the first London roundel to be made in 5 years, totalling 30 mosaic roundels in 12 stations.
City Harvest hosted the Artyface workshop at their Acton Park warehouse, where local businesses, volunteers and Acton locals created ceramic tiles with imagery and words to represent themselves, and what the Acton community, means to them.
