W3 are community are pleased to announce that they will be working with Housing For Women who manage two local domestic violence refuge units to ensure their families enjoy Christmas this year! They are trying to rally the troops in Acton to help deliver their Festive 2022 hamper project.

For Christmas we worked with Hestia and Housing for Women to deliver Christmas gifts and hampers to the women and children in their local domestic violence refuges. Our community’s kind donations will give families in local refuges within the Acton area a sprinkle of magic and festive cheer.

We will be distributing;

  1. Gifts for mum:  Scented gift sets, candles, scarfs, etc. 
  2. Gifts per child: There are children of a vast age range so toys for babies up to the age of 16 would be amazing. If you would like specific toy ideas we would be happy to send a suggested wish list.
  3. Family festive food hampers: Crackers, tins of custard/rice pudding, hot chocolate, vegetarian marshmallows, mince pies, dates/dried fruit (no nuts) etc

If your business would like to participate in the festive hamper project you can do this by donating any items listed above (not a restrictive list) or by donating a sum which will be used to purchase items such as the above and/or hampers, wrapping paper, gift bags etc.  The deadline to contribute is the 15th December.
