City Harvest
Our volunteers are critical to our impact, and we are always open to new applications. For every hour volunteered, City Harvest is able to deliver enough food for 530 meals.
City Harvest vans deliver to food banks, homeless shelters, hostels, soup kitchens, mental health charities, projects supporting the elderly and socially isolated, social pantries, community kitchens, refugee hostels, schools and nurseries, family centres and domestic abuse refuges.

Felix Project
Rescuing surplus food from hundreds of suppliers across the food industry and delivering it to food banks, charities, primary schools, and holiday programmes across London.
Through this network, we ensure healthy meals reach vulnerable children and families, the homeless, the elderly, and anyone who simply cannot afford regular access to nutritious food.

Acton Homeless Concern
When people walk into our two centres it’s often because poverty has left them nowhere else to go. They might be sleeping rough, or have been evicted, or are sofa surfing. By offering them a free hot meal and a kind word without any judgment, we can set them on a path to getting help from us or other agencies.
It might be as simple as food, a shower and a change of clothes to begin with. We can also help them with other needs, like seeing a doctor or a lawyer, advice on housing or benefits, general health services, and referral services to help with alcohol and drug dependencies.

Good Gym
Join a free workout that helps the environment and your community.
GoodGym is one of the most fun things you can do. We know that if lots of us make this a regular part of our lives we can make a massive difference to the cities we live in. We can contribute to making them greener, less lonely, and better connected.
Loneliness and isolation are growing. Our lives are increasingly lived through screens and we’re becoming more isolated. Not only can participation in GoodGym improve someone’s wellbeing, it can help someone else too.

Larger Can
LAGER Can – the Litter Action Group for Ealing Residents – was founded in 2017 by Keith Freegard, then a resident of Hanwell. Membership has climbed to 2,500 and continues to grow.
Our primary goal is to make the London Borough of Ealing’s open spaces cleaner and greener.
To achieve this, we work with our partners at Ealing Council, Greener Ealing Ltd (GEL), Thames 21, and Clean Up the River Brent (CURB), as well as businesses, schools, and youth groups.

Cultivate London
Cultivate London is an independent social enterprise and charity. We are working to improve employment, education, health and wellbeing outcomes of communities in London by improving the natural environment, setting a standard for engaging communities in their green spaces and providing greater access and understanding of community and environmental needs.
Our unique approach is the bespoke and tailored horticultural services, support and opportunities provided by our registered horticulturists and educational professionals

ActOne Cinema
Volunteers are crucial to the success of the Cinema and they will be involved in all aspects of its operation.
The Acton Arts CIC and Cinema recognises the important contribution which Volunteers have already made and will continue to make and is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

RollaDome All Skate
Our mission is to bring people together and positively impact the lives of young people and their families through the fun and inclusive sport of roller-skating.
Our structured, non-competitive, team-based activities provide a safe and inclusive environment for everyone to learn the basics of roller-skating. Whether you prefer traditional lessons, community projects, clubs, discos, or corporate events, there is no one format for learning to roller-skate.
