Acton in Action!
Your Acton BID has launched a major improvement initiative by partnering with Walkers Cleaning & Support Services to enhance street cleanliness Walkers are committed to delivering high quality and sustainable cleaning solutions that enhance local communities and public spaces.
Our ranger Kyi consistently goes above and beyond, maintaining areas that often go unnoticed but that have an impact on our BID businesses. Kyi, who is on duty five days a week provides crucial support to BID businesses, handling scheduled jet washing and collecting open waste, cleaning bins and lampposts, reporting fly tips and more!
Kyi operates using a fully electric Goupil buggy, minimising environmental impact. This initiative was made possible through our collaboration with the Place Support Partnership (PSP), whose expertise helped us secure Walkers as the ideal provider for our ‘Acton in Action’ initiative.
We believe that community cleanliness is fundamental to creating spaces where people want to live, work, and visit. We are proud to contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming Acton.
