Ealing Council’s Stop & Shop+ Goes Live

Acton Stop & Shop+ to go live

From 21^st September 2025 Ealing Council’s proposed Stop & Shop+ will come into effect across the borough of Acton.
 
This will effect short-stay parking spaces, requiring customers to register for their 30 minutes of FREE parking, previously named Stop & Shop.
 
How does the new system work?
 
Customers are required to sign up to either the PayByPhone mobile app, phone, or PayPoints to register their parking session.
 
Why is this being implemented in Acton?
 
The new system will give customers the ability to easily extend their parking sessions. It will also prioritise customers using the parking spaces to visit local shops, and boost turnover for local businesses.
 
What happens next?

New signs will mark the Stop and Shop+ parking spaces, and enforcement will be implemented by 4^th October 2025.
