Decisive Action on the Mount

Working together for a safer, cleaner Acton.

Community Safety Update

This morning, the Acton BID security team (My Local Bobby) and our BID cleaning ranger conducted a targeted operation at the Mount to address a spike in anti-social behaviour (ASB) over the weekend.

Thanks to the swift intervention of our team, key areas including the Morrisons fire exit, St Mary’s Church walkway, and the Hillcrest Surgery ramp have been cleared of waste and perpetrators moved on.

While on site, our Bobbies, Abdul and Zach, were called to assist Morrisons security with two individuals acting suspiciously under the influence. Despite an uncooperative and eventually aggressive encounter, where one individual physically lashed out at our team, Abdul and Zach maintained the highest standards of professionalism.

Collaborative Results We would like to thank MET officers WA2371 and WA1917 for supporting our Bobbies. The incident resulted in:

An immediate arrest following the assault on our security personnel. Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs) enforced through the diligent work of PC Loveday.

This is a testament to then positive outcome of collaboration between different security and policing efforts. We are proud of our Bobbies’ dedication to protecting Acton under challenging conditions.

Help Us Keep Acton Safe. We encourage the community to stay vigilant and report non emergency issues via MET Engage or by using the MET Police QR code reporting system.
