Essential Travel Guidance for Acton 7 – 8 March 2026

TFL Travel Suspensions
Passengers are advised of significant engineering works across the London Underground and Overground networks on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March.
Major disruptions are expected on the Piccadilly line, alongside partial closures of the Circle, Hammersmith & City, and District lines.
Piccadilly Line
- Line Closures: On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, there will be no service between Cockfosters and Uxbridge. This suspension includes the Night Tube on both Friday and Saturday nights.
- Heathrow Services: Trains will only operate between Acton Town and Heathrow Airport. Passengers travelling to Heathrow are advised to use the Elizabeth line where possible.
Barons Court Station: Eastbound trains will not call at Barons Court until June. Passengers travelling east should travel one stop west to Hammersmith and then take an eastbound service back to Barons Court
District Line
- Service Suspensions: No trains will run between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road on 7 and 8 March.
- Barons Court Station: Similar to the Piccadilly line, eastbound trains will not serve Barons Court until June. For eastbound travel, please change at Hammersmith.
Elizabeth Line (Sunday 8 March only)
- Section Closure: No service will operate between Stratford and Shenfield.
- Early Morning Disruptions: There will be no service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway until 07:45.
Mildmay Line (London Overground – Sunday 8 March only)
- Route Suspension: No service will be available between Camden Road and Stratford.
- Service Reductions: A reduced service will operate between Camden Road and Richmond, with trains departing every 15 minutes
