Butterfly Drawing Competition 2026
Your Acton BID Butterfly Design Competition
To celebrate our beautiful butterfly installation, we’re thrilled to launch the
2026 Your Acton BID Butterfly Design Competition, and you’re invited to take part!
Anyone can enter children (and grown-ups too)- just select your age group when submitting your entry,
Closing date 31st August, 11:59 pm
Age Categories:
- ✨ Early Years: Up to 5 years old
- ✨ Ages 5–7
- ✨ Ages 8–12
- ✨ Ages 13–16
- ✨ Ages 16+
How to Enter:
Either colour one of our butterfly templates or draw your own beautiful butterfly using any materials (crayons, pencils, paint, your choice!).
Ask your parent or guardian to send a photo of your artwork on the competition form with:
- Your first name
- Your age
- Artist/ Parent or Guardian’s name and contact info
- Confirmation you agree to the T&Cs
Keep your original drawing safe – we may need originals if you’re chosen as a winner.
Winners will be notified in September 2026 and will be contacted to collect their prizes!
Prizes:
The winner of each category will have their design on display in Acton and on the Acton BID website and newsletter, as well as vouchers to use on local treats around town.
Don’t forget: Entries close at 11:59 PM 31st August 2026.
