Before & After: How Your Acton BID is working towards a cleaner Acton

This summer, Acton BID has been working hard to tackle fly-tipping, overfilled bins and stained pavements across Acton. We also support BID businesses in areas where their commercial waste is stored, to ensure misuse of these bins is dealt with swiftly.

The Acton BID team actively patrols and reports on a daily basis, to highlight problem spots and make sure these issues are addressed quickly.

Once waste sacks and large items have been removed, our street ranger Rob provides a jet washing and litter picking service to sanitise and refresh the area. Thanks to these coordinated efforts, problem spots are being monitored and controlled, making shared spaces cleaner, brighter, and more enjoyable for everyone.

We’d like to thank Mohammed and GEL, as well as our ranger Rob, for working with us to keep Acton’s streets looking their best.

Since January 2026 the Acton BID team have reported over 655 flytips around Acton on the LoveCleanStreets app.
