Walter Murch & Mark Kermode Present American Graffiti @ ActOne Cinema

“Where were you in ’62?” was the tagline for George Lucas’ coming-of-age classic set over one eventful night in a small Californian town. Featuring perhaps the greatest juke box soundtrack in cinema history a young cast including Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard and Candy Clark cruise the streets in search of romance and excitement.
Following the screening we are delighted to welcome back to ActOne legendary, Oscar-winning filmmaker Walter Murch whose cv includes Apocalypse Now, The Godfather and the English Patient. Walter will recount to film critic Mark Kermode how he designed American Graffiti’s revolutionary soundscape.
