Take part in the Great Big Green Week!
The Great Big Green Week will take place from 18 – 26 September 2021, a call for action on climate change! Communities across the country will join together for the Great Big Green Week to raise the profile of groups taking action on climate change. Thousands of events will celebrate how communities are taking action to tackle climate change and protect green spaces and encourage others to get involved too.
During that week, Your Acton BID will work in partnership with Rewilding Acton, a volunteer group responsible to green our area with guerrilla gardening. We will work with volunteers to replant the planters in front of the Arch Climbing Wall at 20-24 High Street. This will help beautify our town centre and continue our mission to make Acton more attractive with the flower baskets and planters throughout our BID.
The Acton Notebook want to organise something in Acton and hope that you will consider getting involved too!
They are aiming to run a GREAT BIG GREEN WEEK in Acton and encourage schools, businesses, faith groups, sports clubs, neighbours and families to get involved. If you are planning an event please get in touch.
