New business grants are now open for applications!
Ealing Council have now open two business grants to support businesses in the hospitality and leisure sector impacted by the Omicron variant. The following grants are:
- Omicron hospitality and leisure grant (OHLG) – mainly for designated hospitality, leisure, and accommodation services
- Omicron additional restrictions grant (OARG) – discretionary Ealing Council’s grant for personal care services, certain hospitality venues and sports and leisure services.
The online application for both grants are now opened and the deadline to submit your application is at midnight on Sunday, 20 February 2022. When applying for any of the grants, you will need to enter the property reference number as shown on your account which begins with NN.

To claim any of the two Omicron grants, your business:
- Must have ongoing, fixed building / trading premises related costs
- Must have been trading on 30 December 2021
- Must be able to demonstrate that it has suffered a significant fall in income due to the -COVID-19 crisis
- Must be registered in and have a principal trading address in Ealing with a current business rates account
- Has not reached the limit allowed for business grant subsidy allowance, please see the section subsidy control.
You cannot claim for both grants. Please note these grants are only open to businesses in the hospitality, leisure and accommodation sectors. You can view examples here of businesses who may be eligible to claim the OHLG or the OARG.
