Security cameras

The Acton BID have added two new CCTV cameras for additional coverage to help the Met Police as well as the Safer communities team with investigations. They will help deter crime and provide a sense of security for the area. The cameras were installed on The Mount near the Morrisons and in the South Acton Industrial Estate on Roslin Rd near the Bollo Bridge walkway. They are both rotational cameras and can also be deployed to other locations if need be.

The new cameras are linked to the Ealing Council 24-hour control centre, which monitors and records images from CCTV systems in the borough. We have also installed new automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) camera technology which will help enforcement against illegal fly-tipping on the High Street and on the South Acton estate.
