Your Acton BID monthly achievements: May
For the months of May, the Acton BID reported various issues such as:
- Over 32 issues of fly tipping incidents.
- 21 counts of graffiti on business shop fronts and street furniture.
- 3 other types of incidents, including streets not clean, pavement issues and abandoned bicycles.
My Local Bobby team has attended various incidents which includes:
- 9 incidents related to beggars.
- 52 incidents related to Antisocial behaviours (i.e., street drinking, noise disturbance, etc.).
- 34 incidents related to crime (i.e., shoplifting, theft).
During this period the team reported known theft offences with an amount totalling approximately £958. Out of this amount, a total of £497 was recovered at the time of the offence. A majority of the offences were reported to the team afterwards and they were not necessarily able to locate the suspect to retrieve the goods.
We have started to deliver this year’s free accredited training courses, with Emergency first aid and Safety in the workplace. The rest of the courses will be delivered in early June. We have also reintroduced the free/discounted pest control for our BID members. Check out our website for more information about the above services!
