Security Webinar – Physical and Cyber

Your Acton Bid Bobby, Abdullah, represented My Local Bobby as a guest speaker on West London Chamber’s security webinar, where he spoke about the role of citizen’s arrest, the importance of proactive engagement, and how we work alongside the police and communities to create safer streets.

Abdullah gave an overview of who My Local Bobby are and what we do, from patrolling high streets and residential areas to building strong relationships with local businesses and residents. He highlighted how visible, approachable officers not only deter crime but also give reassurance to the public.

Speaking directly to attendees, Abdullah shared:

“Start building a relationship with your local Safer Neighbourhoods Team. Try and keep yourself safe. If you see anyone in a red vest around, please, by all means, come and say hi if you want to have a chat. We will do our best to make sure that you are safe, secure, and that you are listened to. People want to talk to people, you want someone there to be reassuring and let you know that everything will be okay.”
