Gentle, Angry Women (63min) is a poignant and timely documentary that weaves personal discovery, historical remembrance, and contemporary activism together, while honouring the largely overlooked Greenham Common Women’s Peace Camp, where thousands of women lived for 19 years protesting against nuclear missiles. It responds to the rising global tensions of our time while celebrating the enduring power of women’s collective action – revealing a bridge between past courage and present hope.

Part of our FOOTPRINTS film strand: A fascinating series of screenings, discussions and Q&As that tackle environmental issues. The damage being done to the environment will lay its most dire consequences at the feet of future generations. With Gentle, Angry Women, FOOTPRINTS wish to encourage young people to question their place in the climate crisis and how they can become more involved.

There will be no ads and trailers before the film, so please arrive on time.
